We publish prices – because before an initial consultation you should know roughly what to expect. All figures are guide values from our practice; the binding document is the written treatment and cost plan you receive after the initial consultation.
Reimbursement
How much your insurance covers depends on your policy. That is why you receive a written treatment and cost plan before any treatment, which you can submit in advance – so you know your own share before anything begins.
Reimbursement follows your policy – for dental prosthetics often between 60 and 90 %.
What to check: annual caps during the first years of your policy.
Your insurer pays a fixed subsidy for the standard treatment – up to 75 % of it with a complete bonus booklet. The implant itself is a private service.
What to check: supplementary dental insurance can reduce the difference considerably.
Depending on the policy, it covers a large part of the costs not paid by statutory insurance.
What to check: waiting period, caps, and whether implants are covered.
The Beihilfe office reimburses its assessment rate, your private top-up insurance the remainder. Ceramic implants are generally eligible; the federal or state rules apply.
What to check: the number of implants per jaw is often limited. On request, we submit the documents with you.
Financing
You can pay your share in instalments through our billing service provider, or in two instalments directly to us: after implant placement and after the final restoration. We will discuss which option suits you in the initial consultation.
Questions about costs
The implant itself is more demanding to manufacture, and we place it according to our SBLC concept. On top of that come an individually made abutment and a highly aesthetic all-ceramic crown from our master laboratory instead of standard parts. The difference lies not in the fee, but in the material and the craftsmanship.
The online initial assessment is no-obligation: you send us details of your situation and, optionally, an existing X-ray, and receive a personal reply within 48 hours on working days. The initial consultation at the practice – with examination, 3D X-ray (CBCT), findings and advice – is billed according to the German fee scale for dentists (GOZ) and comes to around 350 € in total.
For German taxpayers, yes: as an extraordinary expense under Section 33 of the German Income Tax Act (EStG) – to the extent that your share exceeds the reasonable burden threshold. The invoice serves as proof; no certificate from a public health officer is required for dental prostheses.
No. We can see on the 3D X-ray (CBCT) whether augmentation is needed before we draw up the cost plan. Surprises during the procedure are rare; should anything differ, we discuss it with you beforehand – not afterwards.
Often, yes. But a lower price abroad also means that aftercare and warranty are far away. We are happy to review a treatment offer from abroad as a second opinion.
